Partnership with the Private Sector for UHC & Other National Health Goals was recently held 11 – 14 October 2016 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
The course was built on existing strategies for private sector engagement, and aimed at providing participants with analytical and policy-making tools that would better enable them to engage the private sector. It provided participants with a framework both for analyzing the opportunities for engaging the private sector in a health system for achieving UHC and controlling NCD, as well as for designing strategies and approaches for engaging the private sector to achieve national health system goals. The course was designed as a regional course and emphasized on Asian experiences in order to provide a practical and realistic perspective.
